The Lady Raiders swept the Sagamore Conference Cross Country Championship in Danville this past Saturday, scoring just 33 points in the varsity race and a perfect 15 points in the JV division. In the varsity race, the Raiders put all seven runners in the top twelve spots, led by senior Bella Burgess, with sophomore Sharon Schultz, juniors Yena Climer and Anna Felten, and sophomore Danae Plattner also scoring. All seven earned All-Conference honors. The JV squad demonstrated Harrison's remarkable depth, taking the top ten spots and putting fourteen runners ahead of the first runner for country rival McCutcheon. Finishing out their season on a high note, seventeen JV runners posted personal record times. The Lady Raiders are primed to defend their Sectional title at this Saturday's meet at the Tippecanoe Amphitheater.
