The Harrison Lady Raiders traveled to McCutcheon tonight for the annual Battle of the Tippy, taking on a tough and talented Maverick team in a match that lived up to the rivalry. From the opening serve, both teams battled point for point, with neither side willing to give an inch. The Raiders remained composed throughout the close sets, finding ways to make key plays when they mattered most. Harrison ultimately came away with a hard-fought 3–0 sweep over McCutcheon, winning all three sets by close margins: 25–23, 25–22, and 25–19. Leading the Raiders offensively was Gia Stokes, who recorded an impressive 21 kills, while Stella Snider added 10 kills. Story Nixon helped guide the Harrison offense with 48 assists and also contributed 10 digs. Defensively, Mattea Cappozi led the Raiders with 11 digs. The Raiders showed tremendous fight throughout the match, responding to McCutcheon's pressure and staying focused during several tight stretches. The ability to close out each set in a competitive match proved to be the difference. With the win, the Lady Raiders improve to 19–3 on the season and bring the Battle of the Tippy Trophy back to Harrison for another year.
