he Harrison High School boys cross country team made a strong statement Tuesday night at the Champ at the Amp at the Tippecanoe Amphitheater, racing to a dominant first-place finish. Harrison scored just 16 points, placing five runners in the top six overall. Jacob Tilton led the way with a winning time of 16:18.57, followed closely by teammates Jonathan King (16:29.22), Jango Lane (16:34.01), and Logan Breon (16:35.21). Morgan Weathers completed Harrison's scoring five with a sixth-place finish in 16:52.69, giving the Raiders an impressive team average of 16:33.94. Harrison's depth was also on display, with Ryan Jordan finishing 13th in 17:30.45 and Alexander Burgess placing 14th in 17:33.57. The Raiders finished well ahead of second-place West Lafayette, which scored 60 points with a team average of 17:32.41. With five runners under 16:53 and seven runners under 17:34, Harrison showed Tuesday night that it has both the front-end talent and depth to make a serious run at a successful postseason.
