By Kristie Hostetler | Apr 26, 2026 9:09 AM

The Raiders hosted the Harrison Invitational this Saturday and came out with a first-place finish. In pool play, they first faced Plainfield, where they won in two sets with a score of 25-14 and 25-14. Next, the Raiders swept Kokomo 25-16 and 25-9. The final match in pool play was against Andrean, who has been playing very well this season. Harrison dropped the first set 19-25. However, they cleaned up their serve receive and went on to take the second set with a score of 25-23. This sent the match into a 3rd set. The Raiders came out strong and never let up. They kept the lead the entire match and won that final set 15-11, sending them into the championship match to face Brownsburg. In the final match, Brownsburg came out strong, blocking and serving well. The Raiders did not adjust and dropped the first set 22-25. The team regrouped and went out in the second set with better passing and coverage, resulting in Harrison taking the second set 25-21. The match then moved into a third set, and the Raiders were able to defeat Brownsburg 15-12, securing their first-place finish. We had several standout players for the day.
