It wasn’t the cleanest start, but the Harrison boys' volleyball squad proved that it’s not how you start—it’s how you finish. After a slow start, the Raiders found their rhythm to secure a dominant 3-0 sweep over Pike on Monday. The match began with a series of unforced errors and off-target passing. However, after regrouping and settling, the passing cleaned up. By stabilizing the primary pass, the Raiders were able to transition into calculated, high-speed attacks. The Raiders continue to serve well. Cole Hess had 4 aces and Emerson Mohr had 3. Kegan Wargo has been consistently serving well and served for 18 points with 2 aces. Cole Hess led the Raiders in kills with a total of 15. Also swinging well for the Raiders was Emerson Mohr with 7 kills and Kaleb Patton with 5. Trey Easley put up a big defense at the net with 4 blocks, while Antonio Figueras stayed active in the back court with 10 digs. Setter Luke Baker had 15 assists. Harrison looks to carry this momentum into their next matchup which will be against Guerin Catholic tonight.
