Harrison Raiders JV Blue won big over West Lafayette 21-7 on Tuesday at Bob Friend Ball Park-West Lafayette. Harrison Raiders JV Blue got on the board in the top of the first inning after Walker walked, Harrison Raiders JV Blue scored on a passed ball, Rohler singled down the left field line, and Lyons grounded into a fielder's choice, each scoring one run. Harrison Raiders JV Blue added one run in the second. Wilson flew out, making the score 5-1. Harrison Raiders JV Blue extended their early lead with two runs in the top of the third thanks to RBI singles by Foley and Diehl. Harrison Raiders JV Blue scored six runs on zero hits in the top of the fourth inning. Norman drew a walk, scoring one run, Foley grounded out, scoring one run, an error scored two runs, and Mast drew a walk, scoring one run. Harrison Raiders JV Blue scored five runs on four hits in the top of the sixth inning. Wilson hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, Rohler doubled, scoring two runs, and Lyons doubled, scoring two runs. Gabriel led things off on the mound for Harrison Raiders JV Blue. The starter gave up two hits and one run over two innings, striking out four and walking none. Grove started the game for West Lafayette. The starting pitcher gave up one hit and five runs over two innings, striking out one and walking four. Ade, Wells Jr, Wilson, Foley, and Rohler each threw shutout innings for Harrison Raiders JV Blue in relief. Harrison Raiders JV Blue collected nine hits in the game. Lyons, the number seven hitter for Harrison Raiders JV Blue, led the way with four runs batted in. The left fielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Rohler went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Harrison Raiders JV Blue in hits. Foley collected two hits for Harrison Raiders JV Blue in four at bats. Harrison Raiders JV Blue had a strong eye at the plate, collecting 13 walks for the game. Norman and Mast led the team with three bases on balls each.
