Varsity Sweeps Round Robin

The Harrison Raiders hosted a Round Robin this weekend, defending their home court with a flawless performance. Facing off against Irvington Prep, North Putnam, and Terre Haute South, the Raiders didn’t just win—they controlled every set from the opening serve to the final whistle. The first match was against Irvington Prep and resulted in a Harrison win with a score of 25-4, 25-10. Next, Harrison took on North Putnam and won 25-9, 25-13. Last up was Terre Haute South, where they finished the day with a 25-8, 25-13 win. The Raiders played well all day and made great decisions at the net. The setters did a great job moving the ball around the court, resulting in kills for many players. Emerson Mohr led the day with 15, Cole Hess had 11, Trey Easley had 9, Kegan Wargo, Dovial Lugo, and Tate McKinnis each had 8, and Kaleb Patton had 7. Assist leader was Luke Baker with 39, and Jackson Holajter had 12. The Raiders stayed moving, keeping the ball alive. Kegan Wargo and Antonio Figueras led digs with 11 each. Emerson Mohr and Adam Rummel both contributed with 9 digs each. Serving was consistent throughout the day. Emerson Mohr had a powerful serve, resulting in 8 service aces. Tate McKinnis and Kegan Wargo both had great service runs that resulted in 6 aces each. Harrison leaves the weekend with a perfect 3-0 record for the event, carrying significant momentum into their next matchup against Crawfordsville at home on April 9th, starting at 6:00 p.m.
